Love in Film & Song

Exhibition February 1st to February 28th

Love in Film & Song was inspired by my love for movies about love, both romantic and complicated. Loved that is challenging, immersive, overwhelming, and comfortable. I wanted to celebrate not only Valentine’s day but also Black history month focusing on movies and albums I grew up with and connect with. The added Spotify playlist isn’t just a last minute add on but an added experience. Love is more than simply love, it’s a beautiful complicated melody and I hope my art reflects that.
